The Booty of One Hundred Years

Scene 1

Once, in a distant ocean, there were two pirate brothers: Barbaján and Barbecue. Bound by blood and their love of adventure, they sailed together for years in search of the ocean’s greatest mysteries.

Scene 2

The legend that obsessed them most was that of the lost treasure of Jacky, the Treasure Huntress, who had hidden her greatest fortune more than a century ago.

It was said that this treasure—known as the Booty of One Hundred Years—had been fed by the remains of those who perished seeking it. A treasure as real as it was deadly.

Scene 3

One day, the brothers found a clue that led them to this remote island. Along their journey, they faced storms, mermaids, sea beasts, and dangers beyond telling. Yet their greatest trial came with the dreaded Kraken.

Scene 4

Barbecue, the elder, chose to stay behind and face the creature, buying time for his brother to continue the quest—they were too close to fail.

Scene 5

Barbaján, the younger, wounded and broken-hearted, swore to find the treasure and await his brother’s return.

Along the harsh path, he met Tilín, a wise parrot of the Parrot Sanctuary, where Barbaján found refuge. Time passed, and though his wounds healed, his soul remained fractured by Barbecue’s absence.

Scene 6

Before his death, he made one final request to Tilín: “Find my brother… or a kind-hearted adventurer worthy of the treasure.”
